The band is composed of three astonishingly brilliant musicians Andy Fletcher, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore. With 49 songs in the UK Singles Chart, 13 top 10 albums in the UK Charts with two debuting at no. 1, they earned the title of being the most successful electronic band in the music history. The group has acquired numerous awards including the Best Group Category from MTV Europe Music  Awards, Best British Single for their song “Enjoy the Silence” from Brit Awards, Best Alternative Video for “Personal Jesus 2011” from UK Music Video Awards, Best International Group – Rock/Pop from Echo Awards and Innovation Award from Q Magazine. They’ve also received 5 nominations from Grammy. In 1990, they have released their 7^th studio album Violator which tossed the group into global stardom. It spawned hit singles “Policy of Truth” and “World in My Eyes”. Their latest album Delta Machine was released on March 2013. It includes the singles “Heaven” which peaked at no. 1 on US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs and “Soothe My Soul”.
